We were a participant with the NC Oyster hatchery program. For that we set up an oyster hatchery and produced 8 million eyed-larvae oysters for planting on pubic oyster sanctuaries; the first time that was ever done!

Students participated by producing oyster larvae as a part of their lab practicum experience. We now operate the hatchery to train students in shellfish aquaculture production.
